As a kid Gar Clemens fell in love with his father’s records - songwriters like John Prine, Bob Dylan and Hank Williams took deep root in his mind and soul. The world of skateboarding introduced the roots rocking teen to punk and hip hop icons like Jawbreaker, The Clash and Gang Starr, molding him into a lover and creator of authenticity through art. The artist has spent the last five years honing his songwriting craft, performing at legendary American haunts like Schuba’s and festival circuits with the likes of Cory Branan and Matthew Ryan. Gar released his third full length record Full Buck Moon to critical acclaim January 2018.

Take Dylan when he is singing at his prime, then polish it up just a bit more, rock it up a little, add some more depth in the dreamscape of arrangements, and you get this record. ”
